Your garden looks wonderful Anne and I wish we had those lovely colorful birds here in Crete ,which is why we have an aviary in the garden now. John is breeding Canaries and Budgerigars. ,The canaries are now singing their wonderful songs. I love the Iceberg rose. My favorite rose is call ” Blue Moon ” and very difficult to buy. There are some which look like the blue moon but they are not, The real one has a wonderful fragrance. Do you have this species in your country Anne? PS Many thanks for Rtweeting my blog posts.

Hello Rita. Yes we do have Blue Moon rose here and in NZ…absolutely stunning. I grew it in NZ but sticking to burgundy and white iceberg roses because easier to grow in Melbourne. I love the variety of small birds here but they get a hard time from Indian mynahs, crows and magpies. Our garden is a sanctuary for them so they play all day here and we feed them as well. Love canaries and budgies…such beautiful birds.
